Christian Study Centre on Chinese Religion and Culture
The Christian Chinese Religious Culture Research Society (referred to as Zongwen Society) was established in 1957. After 1949, many Christian missions moved to Hong Kong. A group of Christian missionaries and church leaders felt that the church had insufficient understanding of Chinese religious and cultural traditions. With the strong support of Bishop Ho Ming-wah of the Anglican Church, they founded the Zongwen Society in Tao Fong Shan.
