2 Corinthians 3:17 The Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Our circumstances often impose invisible chains upon us—the burdens of life, illness, or anxiety. Yet, in his imprisonment, Bosshardt demonstrated a spiritual truth that transcends circumstances: true freedom does not depend on external circumstances, but on the reign of the Holy Spirit. Walls cannot block prayer, and shackles cannot rob us of peace. As long as the Spirit of the Lord is in our hearts, the place we are in is a sanctuary filled with grace and freedom.
Our loving Heavenly Father, we thank You for the Holy Spirit, which enables us to enjoy true freedom in Christ. When circumstances are difficult and our flesh is weak, we ask that Your Spirit fill us. Open our eyes and see that earthly chains can never imprison Your Spirit and peace. We ask that You illuminate our path with the hope of our heavenly home, and that our hearts become sanctuaries of praise and freedom, so that we may live a life that glorifies You in every circumstance. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
