— John C.H. Wu
Whenever I read the beautiful parable of the prodigal son, I am inclined to say to Jesus, "O my Love and my All, You have understated the case!"

📖 Scripture Reference

Luke 15:18 “I will get up and go to my father and say to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you;’”

💭 Reflection

Whenever John C. H. Wu read the parable of the prodigal son, he was inclined to say to Jesus, "You have understated the case!" The Father's love far exceeds what even that parable can portray. In the busy spring season, we often lose our way amidst the complexities of daily life, technological advancements, and the planning of livelihoods. However, true wisdom is not about accumulating more knowledge, but rather, like a child returning to its father's embrace, rediscovering that inner simplicity and steadfastness. Reflecting on the present: Am I striving for a living, or am I steadily progressing on the path of truth? May we penetrate the clamor of the world and, in our ordinary labor, recognize that peace that transcends all things and returns to our origins.

🙏 Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for this vibrant day. Grant me the profound wisdom of Dr. John C. H. Wu, so that when dealing with worldly matters and technical challenges, I may keep Your truth in my heart; and when planning long-term goals and serving, may my actions never stray from Your holy will. Protect my family and work, so that every task may be a praise to You, and every journey a path to a peaceful return home. May my heart not only dwell on knowledge and law, but also, in the simplest of trust, call You "Abba Father." Amen.
