Hebrews 12:2 Look to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
In my pastoral care and ministry, I often unconsciously focus my attention on the needs of the ministry, people's expectations, and my own responsibilities, leading to spiritual exhaustion and depletion of strength. The Lord reminds me that true strength does not come from the ministry itself, but from life united with Christ. Only by fixing my eyes on Christ and abiding in Him can I see the flock with His eyes, His gentleness, and His strength, and faithfully fulfill the mission He has entrusted to me.
Lord Jesus, help me to look to You first in my service, not to be led astray by busyness and pressure, but to be sustained by Your presence and grace. Teach me to draw strength from You first, and then to love the flock You have entrusted to me. May You renew me, guide me, and strengthen me, so that in every act of shepherding I may not rely on my own zeal, but on the strength You have given me, to reflect Your heart, Your love, and Your glory. Amen.
