Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
The rebuilding of the temple reminded me that spiritual growth is not something that happens overnight, but rather a continuous renewal project of God in my life. Many times, like the Israelites, I stopped working under external pressure or inward discouragement, trying to mend things on my own, forgetting that only the Holy Spirit can reshape my heart. Only when I shift from self-centeredness to Christ-centeredness can my broken life be rebuilt and become the dwelling place of God's glory.
Dear Lord, thank You for not abandoning me. Even though my spiritual life is barren and my will is weak, You still call me to rebuild my relationship with You. I ask You to renew my thoughts and intentions, so that I may no longer pursue perfection according to my own will, but be transformed by Your grace. May my life become a temple where the Holy Spirit dwells, experiencing Your renewal and revival in daily obedience. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
