Romans 8:28–29 We know that in all things God works for good to those who love him, to those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
God's work often surpasses my expectations. He doesn't always respond according to my plans, but in every instance, He shapes me, making me more like Christ. Behind the many "wait" and "delays" lies God's gentle hand, polishing me, strengthening my faith and maturing my heart. I've gradually come to understand that trusting God isn't about expecting Him to do my wishes, but about trusting that He is already working out the most beautiful pattern in my life.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for working even when I'm unaware. Grant me the confidence to remain undeterred by current circumstances and to quietly await your will. When things don't go my way, remind me of your good intentions. When I'm weak, help me to trust in your guidance. May you shape my life so that I may become more and more like your Son, Jesus Christ. In your name, I pray. Amen.
